This week, our Director of Engineering, Viktor Klang, hosted a webinar—Failure: The Good Parts. In the presentation, Klang explores best practices for recovery, testing and checking when building concurrent, distributed software, and outlines how failure management is not an option. The webinar was based on a keynote that Klang presented at Scala.io, and really outlines the broader implications of not having a comprehensive failure plan baked into your system from the get go.
